What’s Up Wolfpack: Halloween Costumes

October 31, 2009 • written by Samantha Hartfiel

Although by high school Trick-or-Treating is a tradition no longer practiced, students fondly remember the days of dressing up as Power Rangers and princesses while collecting precious candy. Some dressed in elaborate homemade costumes designed by their mothers, while others trekked to the store for plastic masks and foam swords. However, no matter where the costumes came from, most can agree that Halloween was a treasured ingredient of their childhood. Therefore, Park students were asked:

What is the best Halloween costume you have ever worn?

Kim Melton

 -10th grade

“When I was in first grade, I was a GIANT peppermint candy! My mom had so much fun making it. I just loved it!”

 Zach Hartfiel

-12 grade

“My favorite costume is the one I’m wearing now. I’m a bowling ball!”

Danielle Hagel

-9th grade

“When I was 11 or 12 I was Sleeping Beauty. I liked being a princess!”
