Senior Girls vs. Junior Girls?

“I thought the shirts were cleaver” Capecchi said. ”They are wearing them a year too early though”
Although there is a lot of tension in the school events, many of the Juniors and Seniors still get along when they are not with there own class.
“I have a ton of junior friends and there just as cool as anyone else I know” stated Senior, Kevin Walker. “I think that the Junior and Seniors relationship with one another is one of a rivalry.”
Some of the Seniors find it funny how the Juniors think they run the school, and others get very angry with the issue. Some Juniors find the Seniors annoying and full of themselves, while others don’t really care about what is going on. So it’s a mixed relationship, that will probably never be completely understandable. Will the two classes ever get along though?
According to Senior, Chanel Samur they can get along.
“I think they can if the juniors just let us be. We’re not trying to do anything we don’t care we just want our last year of high school to be something fun and memorable.”
Capecchi disagrees. “This year, No, Because the Juniors don’t understand that its not THEIR turn. Its ours!”
Underneath all the slogans, signs and chants there is love between the two classes, they both know that they attend the same school and they both have a ton of school spirit. All people can do now is wait and see if the two classes will learn to show the love and not the hate.
From slogans to signs, to yelling and cheering. The Seniors and Juniors are doing what they can to look more powerful than the other class. There is an obvious tension between the two classes. What is not so obvious is the question “Why?”
“I think the Juniors need to settle down! They are really stuck up and think that they run the school which isn’t true. Everyone knows the seniors run it!” stated Gina Capecchi, a Senior. ”They will have their turn next year so let us have ours. It just causes tension when they are so cocky.”
“I think a lot of seniors take some things a little too seriously about what the juniors do.” stated Jack McMahon, a Junior. ”They do and say some of the same things as us.”

I believe that the Juniors need to back off. It is our year and they need to respect that. The shirts were interesting, but like Gina said, they wore them a year to early. I find it funny that the juniors believe we are stuck up and rude when in reality, it is them being stuck up and rude to us by trying to tell us they run PHS. They can think what they want, but they do not get the privileges we do.

Honestly, i think these juniors need to settle down. The real question is… Why are they being so cocky on their junior year?? Us seniors weren’t like that LAST year. And it bugs me that these juniors are trying to be the “top notch”. I agree with Gina and whoever said this, “Wait your turn, juniors.” Ya’ll still got one more year so don’t waste your time making 100 hundred shirts saying ya’ll run the school. Your killing your own money btw. Honestly, i hope the sophomores this year have better manners when they become seniors.. Show the next classes how they should REALLY act.. and please don’t imitate these juniors next year. They’re wasting their breath TRYING to be a class they AIN’T.

This is a pathetic argument. Since when does this matter? Where is the valuable material that this “top notch” high school should be debating? Someone needs to come up with something better than 16, 17, and 18 year old girls’ rivalries. Honestly, it’s not that interesting…. at all.

I agree with some that yes it is our senior year and it is our turn.. I’m also sure that next year when those juniors become seniors, they will feel the same way we did they just dont understand that yet. I think it’s the same every year how juniors feel they are better or are trying to take the senior name or any of that.. we can get a long, its just something they have to understand more of, kind of an immature thing I think of juniors to do that. but they’ll learn next year they become seniors how annoying it is..

I think it is hilarious. If I were you, I would just sit back and watch and not get involved. It is free entertainment. Leave the rivalries in the communities. As in, yell at the other fans of a sporting event. Take a side in something that has true meaning. I am proud to say that I represent a person from Cottage Grove. You are fighting over a label of being either a junior or a senior. Next year, your label will be completely different.
By the way, seniors do not run the school. I do not even know why they think that. You go to the school to learn and figure out what is next for you. The Administration runs the school.
Park high is pathetic our school waste so much time money and effort on foolish sport teams that fuel a pathetic rivalry between schools which often leads into sad class rivalry which make all who partcipate in then immature and ignorant. Your in school to learn not have useless popularity contests. Seniors, we run nothing we are 17-18 years old last I checked it was teachers and admins that run phs. Because if you are running the school, your doing a lousy job at our lowly ranked school. For shame on our students it’s an embarrassment to go to park high school where articles like this get space and it’s content rests so highly on our students minds versus there studies and futures.
I don’t know what’s wrong with the juniors this year. No other junior class has acted like that. They’re conceited, annoying & obnoxious. Like, chill out seriously? I don’t know why they’re telling us to act our rank when they’re the ones TRYING to steal he spotlight. 09 is the best & they’re just jealous.

Buddy hey where do you get off saying that all of our sports teams are pothetic and the rivalrys are stupid. Well the rest of the school is out supporting their friends and classmate you were probably sitting home playing video games or marching around in the gym. Maybe you should take up a sport or try supporting your classmates instead of shooting them down. By you saying this it makes YOU immature and ignorant.
Ok chase, so since i play in a sport i immediately become ignorant and immature. I don’t see how sports have an affect on the rivalry between students. When i’m at a sporting event i see sophomores, juniors, and seniors cheering for the team. Let’s not forget its high school so lets have a little fun eh. We got the rest of our lives to worry about our futures, but this is the only high school experience we’ll ever get. So i’m going to make the most of it. And playing on a sports team brings our us toghether more than anything there is nothing that can compare to it. Until you experience that you have no right to say the school is wasting time money and effort, and your logic on seniors running the school is stupid, we know we don’t run it were just having a little fun so lighten up and not take little things so seriously. Being a second year senior lol The senior class last year vs this year is a huge difference the seniors this year are a little too excited about being on the top of the school or what ever you guys are acting rude this year some of you that is its really annoying lol and the whole “we run this” hahahahahhhahaha no you dont the school district and the state “run this” not you so just sit down pull your pants up and shut up do some work keep the school going strong forget about your rivalry you wont remember that

i didnt get a chance to be at my Senior year but from what im reading it sounds like the juniors want all the attention. but who cares.. i mean we all know that the Seniors are the once that rule the school they like it or not that is just the way it is…
So junior enjoyed your junior year because next year you guys get to rule the shcool…
