Lunchroom Issues

Most people at Park see lunch as the best and most enjoyable part of the day at school. You get to eat and drink whatever you want and talk to whomever you want. Unfortunately lately lunch time has become a sort of hassle. I myself have D lunch, the last lunch of the day, and the problems with it are numerous. For one the length of the lines are ridiculously long. I timed how long it took me to get to the front of the pizza line and it took 15 minutes. Mostly because some students apparently forgot their pin numbers. Fortunately though, the lines are not as long as they used to be. At one point the main lunch line was crossing next to the pizza line creating a very confusing mass of people trying to get food. Lately the pace of the lines have sped up and everyone is gett ing a chance to leisurely eat their lunch. Another very annoying problem is running out of ketchup. There have been countless times I have gone to put ketchup on my fries only to find the container totally empty. A likely cause for this is that everyone is taking way too much ketchup that they are not eating. Be considerate of how much sauce you are putting on your tray and please don’t waste. Hopefully all lunches in the future can begin to run smoother and be more enjoyable.
