Attackers From Beyond the Stars Wreak Destruction Across Most of Earth!
November 14, 2008
Aliens invade most of Earth! Hordes of soldiers from beyond our galaxy storm through almost all of Earth’s countries. Most countries tremble before their unstoppable might while the rejected nations stage protest.
“We deserve the same annihilation that all the other countries get.” Said Estonia, a member of the newly formed Ignored Country Coalition or I.C.C. The I.C.C, headed by North Korea, fights for equal rights and opportunities for destruction by alien forces. The I.C.C includes such ignored nations as Estonia, Mexico, Lithuania, Latvia, Uzbekistan, Australia, North and South Korea, France, Madagascar, South Africa, as well as Utah and New Jersey from the United States. The I.C.C, while still an inexperienced and young organization, has gained growing support from not only its member nations but other nations as well.
“Sure! What the heck! Let the aliens take a few shots at them for a change!” Great Britain shouted over the sounds of explosions and laser fire. The United States expressed similar support, but the statement was unintelligible due to sporadic warfare outside the White House. Germany was unavailable for comment as no one is quite sure where they are hiding at the moment. The German government was driven into hiding last week when alien forces began plasma bombing the entire country.
The I.C.C views such wanton destruction as unnecessary cruelty, or at least bias cruelty.
“Germany gets bombed and we get nothing! We barely even have any collateral damages or casualties from the plasma bombs dropped near out borders!” Shouted an irate France during the last I.C.C meeting. “We kind of expected something like this to happen. I mean, c’mon, we’re France. But to be completely ignored is an outrage! We want the aliens to know that those other countries are no better than us.”
The I.C.C demanded to meet with the alien leaders today, stating that they wished to present their case before the ones responsible for the invasion. “If we are to make any difference,” Australia announced. “Then we need to see the ones responsible. We need to take our complaint to the highest power! No annihilation without representation!”
“No way, we’re not seeing them.” An alien leader blinked at a reporter when questioned about the I.C.C. “We’ve avoided those places for a reason and we’re not changing our collective minds.” The alien blinked, before shooting the interviewer.
