Fashion: Need a Second Hand?
January 12, 2009 • written by Jasmine Barnum
People have always been a tad bit skeptical of shopping at second-hand clothing stores. Should they go and find cute and cheap things, or should they continue shopping at overly priced stores? For many, second-hand clothing stores are a convenient way to find interesting things that they never could find in stores. As Nicole Schank (11th) says, “I really don’t mind it – some of the things can be really cool”. It is sometimes hard finding good second-hand shops so I have put together a list of the best ones to go to. After reading the list have fun buying five outfits for the price of two!
· Another Look Around Resale Boutique – An amazing store that offers new/gently used clothing, bags, shoes, home décor, accessories, and more. The best part is, is that they are having their annual winter sale on February 1st – the 15th. Everything in the store during that time will be 50% off. (http://www.alresale.com)
· B-Squad – B-Squad is a vintage shop in Minneapolis that sells anything and everything vintage! Even if you’re not into the whole “vintage scene” you should still check it out – you might change your mind after you see their merchandise. (http://www.b-squad.com)
· Our Little Secret – If you’re not looking for vintage but are looking for cheap deals “Our Little Secret” is the perfect place for you to look. It’s proud of it’s collection of designer accessories/ clothing and most prices range from $5 to $30. Since I could not find an actual website for this store you can find out more information at, http://twincities.citysearch.com/profile/47250913?raid=3117661.
