Wolfpack Slips After Home Opener

After a 5 to 3 win over the South St. Paul Packers, the Park Boys has dropped the last three games. The Wolfpack (1-3) faced off against Minnetonka, Hastings, and Cretin Derham Hall the last few games. Starting off the first conference games of the year to a sluggish start.
The Wolfpack lost their first game of the year to highly ranked Minnetonka. The Wolfpack kept the game very close throughout the game narrowly losing to the Skippers 2 to 1. Brandon Handwerk scored the lone goal for the Wolfpack. The next Thursday the ‘Pack then faced off against conference opponent the Hastings Raiders. After Branden Graf scored the first goal of the game, The Wolfpack gave up three straight unanswered goals. The Wolfpack ended up losing their first conference game of the year 3 to 1. A few days later, the ‘Pack faced off against powerhouse Cretin Derham Hall. The Raiders came out ready to play, beating the Wolfpack of a score 6 to 2. Juniors Branden Graf and Luke Vogelgesang scored the only two goals of the game for the ‘Pack.
Coming up for the Wolfpack have an upcoming game against section opponent Apple Valley on Tuesday, December 16 at 7:30 p.m., at the Cottage Grove Ice Arena. The next games after that are away games against conference opponents White Bear Lake and Roseville.
